If you are going to have something fabricated for your boat, here are a few things to consider:

First and foremost, Engineering. Are any examples available for comparison? Are the welds clean? The bends smooth? The pipe properly coped before welding? Is it going to last? Is it solid, was it mounted properly? Looks, will it draw attention for it’s attractiveness or because it’s an eyesore? Function, will it meet the needs you have, and be made with future add-ons factored in? Is it custom? Or will it be off the stack? Sorry, but there are very few one-size fits all fabricated products. And most of the ones that claim to be fall into the eyesore category.

From the FIRST known hydraulic folding top, to a lifting device for a Hookah diving system, innovation, engineering, looks, function, and oh yeah, it’s CUSTOM.
